He has 40 years of experience in various industries, including accounting, wholesale, retail, farming, aquaculture, and commercial leasing which gives him a broad perspective, knowledge and an ability to deal with any industry. He holds a Bachelor of Business Accounting from QIT (now QUT) and has worked as an accountant, financial controller, retail leasing manager and then managing director of a fresh produce retailer. He has also run his own wholesale distribution business and AirBnb businesses.
